Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, sociology or psychology, and at least two (2) years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad variety of specialized and responsible duties in support of a director or administrator.
• Develop informational and training resources for district, state and federally mandated assessments, including CAASPP, ELPAC, CAST and Physical Fitness Test.
• Coordinate and conduct the communication, training and materials for district, state and federally mandated assessments such as CAASPP, ELPAC, CAST and Physical Fitness Test.
• Communicate with school and district personnel, Special Education, and Education Technology Services, as well as appropriate public and private agencies, regarding all assessment systems.
• Provide technical support to school and district personnel and administration.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and support staff and administration use of technology with District approved programs and assessment platforms.
• Coordinate district assessment teams, including calendar, assignments, and training.
• Conduct analyses, prepare data reports, and provide guidance to other personnel involved in administering the testing and assessment program.
• Understand and maintain all aspects of secure test administration and act accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and current records of test security in order to maintain confidentiality of student assessment and testing data.
• Oversee test ordering, distribution, inventory, and test control procedures, including identification of students to be assessed.
• Establish plans and logistics of score reporting for local and state assessments to parents and families.
• Research, coordinate and verify program issues or data.
• Serve as liaison between a director or administrator and others involved in program-related business.
• Monitor and assure assessment and project timelines are met.
• Maintain a variety of complex records and files; enter or retrieve data into or from proprietary or mass market software programs such as Google Drive, MS Office or Excel.
• Request student-related information, such as transcripts or related documents.
• Compose correspondence, memoranda, schedules and lists from straight copy, rough drafts or oral instructions.
• Operate a variety of contemporary office equipment.
