Job summary

Kelly Services in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Entry Level Assembler to join a premier manufacturing client. You will assemble components using hand and power tools, contributing to safe, quality production.

The role offers Mon-Fri, 8 am–5 pm with an $18 per hour pay. No prior experience required; on-the-job training and growth opportunities in carpentry and mechanical skills are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Able to read and write and perform basic math.
• Experience with measuring devices and power/tools is a plus.
• Willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assembling product components using hand and power tools according to work instructions.
• Packaging finished products using proper materials to ensure safe shipment to customers.
• Completing orders on time as per shipping lists and instructions.
• Collaborating with co-workers to prepare materials and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What’s a typical day as Entry Level Manufacturing - Ladder Safety Gates (LSG)? You’ll be:

• Assembling product components using hand and power tools according to work instructions
• Packaging finished products using proper materials to ensure safe shipment to customers
• Completing orders on time as per shipping lists and instructions
• Collaborating with co-workers to prepare materials and maintain a smooth workflow
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have the ability to use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools
• Are skilled in reading, writing, and basic math related to construction drawings, work orders, and shipping reports
• Possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• Have basic carpentry skills and mechanical knowledge (preferred)
• Can operate tools such as table saws, sliding miter saws, and forklifts (preferred)
• Are able to lift and walk with loads up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of your shift
