Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is hiring an Assembly Test Implementation Engineer to lead SPARC assembly test activities, from prep through closure. You will ensure safety, execute tests, and review procedures with engineering and technician teams to mitigate risks while achieving reliable results.

You will drive test planning, develop test equipment concepts, and provide technical direction for issue resolution, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards across field

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of equivalent engineering experience.
• Testing experience with hazards.
• High voltage electrical testing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam or Acrobat, and 3D modeling programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and close out SPARC Assembly test activities.
• Review and approve test procedures, ensuring safety and scope.
• Collaborate with technician teams for pre-test walkdowns and equipment testing.
• Develop proficiency with SPARC Assembly workflow management for tests.
• Provide engineering direction to troubleshoot field impediments.
• Ensure compliance with CFS safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Debrief and communicate test outcomes with stakeholders.
