Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Senior Test Planning Engineer - Assembly to plan, draft and secure approvals for SPARC Assembly test campaigns, procedures and instructions to accelerate milestones.

You will write clear procedures, manage risk analyses, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with engineering and technician teams during high voltage and hazardous-testing activities.

Onsite full-time in the US with equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 7 Years of equivalent engineering experience.
• Previous testing experience with hazards.
• Previous electrical testing experience (high voltage).
• High proficiency MS Office, Bluebeam or Acrobat, and 3D modeling programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and approve SPARC Assembly test products and campaigns.
• Develop test procedures and risk analyses for safety and quality.
• Write concise technical procedures and templates.
• Lead troubleshooting actions and evaluate test anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (NFPA, OSHA, etc.).
• Coordinate with engineering and technician teams.
