Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking an Assembly Test Implementation Engineer to lead preparation, execution, and closure of SPARC assembly test activities.

You will collaborate with technicians, review procedures, and drive safe, efficient test programs while developing test equipment and workflows for derisking and training.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 5 years of experience, and strong proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam/Acrobat, and 3D modeling tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5 Years of equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience with hazards in testing environments.
• Electrical testing experience (high voltage).
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam or Acrobat, and 3D modeling programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and close stages of SPARC Assembly test activities.
• Scout field assets for test instruction or procedure planning.
• Review test procedures to identify scope and risk and coordinate with teams.
• Perform pre-test walkdowns of unit under test and related components.
• Develop test equipment and mock-ups for training and derisking.
