Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is hiring for an assembler to safely construct equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will follow detailed instructions, use power and hand tools, and assemble subassemblies with accuracy.

The role involves lifting up to 35 lbs solo and up to 60 lbs with a team, cross-training in multiple areas, and adhering to safety and 6S standards in a loud plant environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and reliable attendance on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using tools.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately with tape measures and drill/tap holes as needed.
• Lift and stack subassemblies up to 35 lbs (60 lbs with team lift).
• Cross-train across assembly areas and follow written/verbal instructions.
