Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2+ years in manufacturing, quality engineering, QA, or related production environment.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and problem-solving to resolve product or process quality issues.
• Knowledge of quality systems, methodologies, and tools such as PFMEA, SPC, corrective actions, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing or assembly process data to identify trends, improve quality, and drive improvements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate quality initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, CMM operations, and manufacturing quality inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate problem solving for defects per unit, first time through, and problems per million.
• Coordinate quality objectives with other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing and implementing error-proofing.
• Analyze assembly process data to identify trends or upcoming concerns.
• Work with Advanced Quality Tools (PFMEAs) to ensure a quality assembly process.
• Analyze SPC data and work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes.
