Daimler Truck North America LLC. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembly Process Engineer III to lead and mentor within Corporate Manufacturing Engineering.

You will drive the development and continuous improvement of assembly processes, coach engineers, and manage multi-location projects while prioritizing safety, quality, cost, and schedule. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to navigate fast-paced environments with stakeholders across Design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, assembly engineering, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting manufacturing launches, process improvements, or capital projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for professional presentations and clear messaging to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of assembly manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers across locations.
• Support safety-critical manufacturing systems, tooling, assembly processes, and controls.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Ensure process designs meet safety, quality, productivity, and ergonomic requirements.
• Lead multiple projects from concept through implementation with cross-functional teams.
