Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Process Engineer III to lead and mentor across assembly operations in a dynamic environment. The role emphasizes strategic planning and hands-on problem solving to improve safety, quality, cost, and schedule while coordinating with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field with 5-7 years of experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, assembly engineering, industrial engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders (2+ years).
• Experience with safety-critical processes, tooling, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of assembly manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Manufacturing Engineers across locations.
• Support safety-critical manufacturing systems, tooling, assembly processes, and controls.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Ensure designs meet safety, quality, productivity, and ergonomic requirements.
