Steelcase is seeking workers for light assembly and subassembly tasks. You will perform repetitive steps to build or complete units, rework items to meet specs, and use light power tools, jigs, and fixtures. Reading blueprints and measuring parts ensures quality while maintaining takt times.

We value dexterity and the ability to stand for long periods with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, and you may rotate to different zones as needed. Safety and accuracy are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods and frequent bending or twisting.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to shoulders; carry 35–55 lbs.
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure parts meet specs.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and ensure quality.

Responsabilités

• Perform a limited variety of repetitive subassemblies or complete units.
• Rework and repair units to meet requirements.
• May use light power tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools to ensure parts are within quality specifications.
• Meet required takt/cycle time as established.
