Job summary

Stainless Tank & Equipment Company LLC is seeking candidates for a basic assembly role in a manufacturing setting. Training is provided; work is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts from 5:00am to 3:30pm with possible overtime.

The position involves cross-training in assembly and minor fabrication, reading blueprints, problem solving, and using various tools and machinery to build metal products. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely in a team

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal pieces to final product using hand and power tools.
• Operate Chop and Shear and other manufacturing equipment.

• Contribute ideas to improve workflow and safety.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain attendance.

Job description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Basic Assembly in a manufacturing environment. Will train! Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shifts 5:00am to 3:30pm Some OT may be required. The Assembly position will be cross-trained to perform primarily assembly job functions. Be able to perform and assemble minor metal fabrication functions. In addition to read blueprints, problem solve and use effective workflow skills. Will use measuring devises; hand, pneumatic and electrical tools; and operation of manufacturing machinery. Assemble metal pieces to final product. Operate the Chop and Shear to cut metal parts Operating powered tools including but not limited to, handsaw, drills, pipe threader, drill press, band-saw and air tools. Completing associated training with each power tool used. Operating manual hand tools including but not limited to, screwdriver, pliers, wrenches and pipe wrench, soldering equipment, cutting devices, etc. Problem solve and communicate effectively with work team. Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of work flow and processes. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures. Ability to demonstrate basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and understanding fractions required. Able to climb ladders Occasional Confined Space work Ability to lift to 50 lbs, Push, Pull, Stoop, Bend, work underneath a tank, use ladders.
