Job Title: Assembly Operator III
Location: Arden, NC
Shift: 1st (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembly Operator III to join our team, specializing in fiber optic cable assemblies. This role is responsible for the assembly, termination, and testing of various fiber optic cable configurations. You will also support process development and assist in the transition of new products from concept to market.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrates exceptional hand-eye coordination, and displays meticulous attention to detail. You should be a self-starter who adapts well to shifting priorities and maintains a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience in fiber optic assembly is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using hand tools and reading blueprints (preferred).
Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Experience with SAP Manufacturing and ISO 9001 standards (preferred).
Physical Requirements: Able to work with small parts and distinguish color-coded cables; must meet clean room standards.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed instructions, read bill of materials, and interpret job routers and prints.
Work Ethic: Reliable, accountable, and maintains confidentiality as needed.
Availability: Must be willing to work overtime as required.
