A leading company in Wichita is seeking an experienced assembler to work with aircraft components. Responsibilities include assembling, modifying, and installing parts according to specifications, while ensuring quality and efficiency in the assembly process. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in assembly methods and a team-oriented attitude.
Responsible for and has experience with basic sheet metal, riveting, assembly methods, and common shop practices. This position is also responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and structural assemblies per customer requirements, and for identifying nonconforming parts, conditions, and manufacturing processes by performing the following duties.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training:
Six months vocational training.
