Position Details:

• Shift: 2nd shift, Mon – Fri, 2p-10p/10:30p; flexibility for up to 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekends. Training on 1st shift for 1 month+
• Salary Range: $25.98-$38.09/hour, based on role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
• Possess welding and machining skills (a plus).
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using electrical/electronic and mechanical principles and restore equipment to operation.
• Provide mechanical and electrical support across manufacturing.

Impact at WestRock:

• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Install, start-up, and shut down equipment following safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators on safe operation procedures.
• Report potential issues to management.
• Maintain performance and maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting and training.

Qualifications:

• High safety awareness.
• Proven proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Computer operation and PLC knowledge.
• High precision work with minimal tolerances.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
