Job summary

Industrial Talent Group in Denver, CO seeks an Assembly Manager to own the final build and delivery of complex automated equipment. You will lead the assembly team and coordinate with Engineering, Fabrication, Supply Chain, and Field Service.

Base salary up to $135,000 with an annual bonus, plus opportunities to improve processes, plan production, and develop people in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience with direct reports.
• Experience building custom automated equipment, machinery, or complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical machine assembly.
• Exposure to PLCs/controls, robotics, conveyors, pneumatics, and vision systems.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, forecasting, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Fabrication, Supply Chain, and Field Service.
• ERP/MRP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly team, coach, and develop staff.
• Create and execute production and machine-build schedules.
• Plan manpower and resources around upcoming projects and deadlines.
• Drive machines from prints to final assembly and shipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Fabrication to resolve build issues.
• Work with Supply Chain to identify material shortages and keep projects moving.
• Improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and shop-floor efficiency.
• Identify delays early and develop solutions before delivery impact.
• Use ERP for planning, scheduling, materials, and production visibility.
• Take ownership of deadlines and communicate plans with senior leadership.
