Job summary

BluePrint Automation Inc. in Longmont, CO is seeking an Assembly Manager to oversee 15-20 staff and the end-to-end assembly process for packaging automation systems.

The role directs design review through shipment, setting schedules, and driving safety, quality, and productivity goals. Candidates should have a high school diploma with 10 years of production/manufacturing experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in management in a production manufacturing environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience reading safety rules and mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Experience in Excel is required; CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a safe working environment within BPA standards.
• Manage and support the Assembly Team and Project Team from design review to final assembly and testing.
• Set and maintain the assembly schedule including assigning leads and backups to all projects.
• Develop and lead project teams to support quality, safety and productivity goals.
• Develop and Train assembly staff on Best Practices and SOPs to efficiently build automation equipment.
• Attend management meetings and support a positive team culture across departments.
