Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Lead to guide one or more teams in production and manufacturing processes. You will ensure timely completion of tasks, assign daily duties, monitor progress, and train associates.

You’ll work with Management to improve manufacturing efficiency and implement cost-saving measures. The role requires leadership experience, ability to read drawings, and compliance with ISO 9001 and UL/NEC codes.

Qualifications

• Two+ years as shop lead or equivalent manufacturing supervision.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read industrial drawings and specifications.
• Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment.
• Two+ years of experience in UL and NEC codes.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time.
• Alignment with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Communicates job expectations; plans, monitors, and appraises results; coaches and disciplines employees; enforces policies and procedures.
• Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes and equipment; analyzes operations; implements cost reductions.
• Schedules production and assigns personnel; tracks progress and reports results.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment by coordinating repairs and evaluating new methods.
• Manages production information and responds to requests with data.
• Develops and revises processes and procedures for efficiency and cost control.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment per policies.
