Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Lead in Houston to guide one or more production teams, ensure timely completion of tasks, and drive process improvements. You will work with management to enhance efficiency, monitor compliance, and mentor staff.

The role requires coordinating daily tasks, setting priorities, and communicating performance data. Ideal candidates bring experience in manufacturing leadership, ISO 9001, and UL/NEC codes, with a strong safety mindset and hands-on problem

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a shop Lead or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Experience reading industrial drawings and specifications.
• Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment.
• Two or more years of experience in UL and NEC codes.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs or more; sit, stand, and walk for 4+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes workflow.
• Plans, monitors, coaches, and enforces production policies and procedures.
• Recruits and onboards employees; trains and mentors staff.
• Maintains workflow by upgrading processes and monitoring controls.
• Schedules and assigns personnel to meet production plans; reports results.
• Maintains quality by enforcing production standards and safety.
