Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston seeks an Assembly Lead to guide one or more teams through production processes, ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and that daily tasks are clearly assigned.

The role involves monitoring progress, training associates, and collaborating with management to improve production efficiency. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of shop leadership and experience with UL/NEC codes, plus English proficiency and ISO 9001 environment familiarity.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a shop leader or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read industrial drawings and specifications.
• Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment.
• Two or more years of experience in UL and NEC codes.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours.
• Alignment with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Coaches, counsels, and enforces policies and procedures; communicates job expectations.
• Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes and resources; implements cost reductions.
• Schedules and assigns personnel; tracks progress and reports results.
• Maintains quality service by enforcing production standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment and evaluates new techniques.
• Compiles and analyzes production data and responds to inquiries.
• Develops procedures and systems; supports process improvements.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment and union relations.
