Job summary

Master Electronics in Germantown, WI is seeking a hands-on Value Add Associate to assemble products, verify quality, and follow technical instructions. You will inventory parts, maintain tools, and keep a clean workspace in a fast-paced production area.

We welcome candidates with a high school diploma or GED, production experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in a production/assembly environment required.
  • Quality control experience in production/assembly preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools (crimpers a plus).
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must communicate work instructions clearly and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Follow technical instructions and terminology.
  • Assemble products based on written instructions.
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Examine finished products for conformance.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in assembling process.
  • Follow company procedures and maintain workspace.
  • Maintain tools and keep a clean, safe workspace.
  • Adhere to safety rules and quality standards.

In this exciting role, you'll build practical component kits and assembly designs by following technical instructions and constructing a diverse range of products. Your expertise in discerning the quality of parts and materials will ensure our products are top‑notch. You'll inventory and maintain parts and tools, keep your workspace clean and organized, and check incoming and outgoing products for defects. If you're passionate about precision, quality, and creating something tangible every day, we want you on our team!

Pay $17.50/Hour

What you will do?
  • Follow technical instructions and technical terms
  • Assemble a wide range of products based on written instructions
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
  • Examine finished products for conformance
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process
  • Follow company procedures and directives
  • Maintain the tools used to assemble products
  • Keep a clean and well‑maintained workspace
What you bring to the table!
  • High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred
  • Experience in a production/assembly environment, distribution or related field required
  • Quality control experience in a production/assembly environment, preferred
  • Experience using hand tools (Crimpers a plus)
  • Sustain long term attention to detail
  • Role‑related accuracy and task follow‑through
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift and/ or move, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Noise level may be loud in some areas of the production area
  • Ability to clearly communicate regarding work instructions
  • Basic computer skills
