Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE - USA is seeking an assembler for third shift to perform hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives. The role involves stocking, parts pulling, testing, and post-assembly tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work on the 3rd shift with a 10% shift differential, and compliance with ISO quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience, background in hand assembly.
• Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, push/pull, bend, twist, stoop, kneel.
• Must continuously meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

About The Role Position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is assembly of reducers and motors. Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience is required, including a background in hand assembly.

Pay Range: $17.00/hour + 10% Shift Differential

• Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives, maintain parts stock between assembly lines, putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up.
• Use calipers, depth and paint millage gauges.
• Must visually inspect all work and rework as necessary.
• Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures.
• Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
