Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE USA is seeking an assembler to handle all aspects of the assembly process for gear motors, reducers and drives. You will stock, pull parts, test, wash, prep and ship, while ensuring quality with gauges and blueprints. The role operates on the 1st shift with a 10% premium for other shifts and a generous benefits package starting day one.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, perform required physical tasks, and rotate through various assembly tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly work.
• Accurately use gauges for quality checks and measurements.
• Perform unit arithmetic for different measurement units.
• Maintain physical stamina to stand and work around machines.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain inventory between assembly lines and support stocking.
• Perform repair/restock and warranty evaluations.
• Test, wash, prep, paint, pack and ship products.
• Rotate between assembly shop tasks as needed.

About The Role

Position involves all aspects of the assembly process including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

• Ability to use gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure quality work.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs.
• Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours.
