Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an assembler for the 3rd shift in Ohio. The role involves hand assembly of reducers and motors, with extensive opportunities to work with calipers and gauges to ensure quality.

A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to stay productive under production targets are essential. We offer competitive pay at $17.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives; maintain stock between lines and perform packing and shipping tasks.
• Use calipers, depth gauges, and paint gauges to inspect work.
• Visually inspect all work and rework as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Comply with ISO quality instructions, safety rules, and company policies.
• Assess each situation and stop unsafe work or training gaps, reporting any unsafe conditions.

About the Role

Position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is assembly of reducers and motors. Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience is required, including a background in hand assembly.

Pay Range: $17.00/hour + 10% Shift Differential Shift: 3rd shift

• Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements.
