Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Assembly Tech III for the 1st shift to assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and related subsystems. The role runs from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with a starting hourly rate of $20.94.

You will work with a team to achieve daily production goals, follow safety guidelines, and read electrical/mechanical drawings. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, plus hands-on tool experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC location.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• 1 year of experience using hand and air tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Low Voltage Assemblies and related sub-assemblies with focus on safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Perform visual inspections of materials before and after assembly.
• Follow Standard Work and SOPs to meet daily production goals.
• Identify nonconforming parts and troubleshoot; may perform hi-pot tests.
• Prepare final assemblies for shipment or storage and assist with packaging.
