Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARSdivision is seeking an Assembly Technician - 1st Shift to join our Greenwood, SC facility. You will assemble low voltage assemblies and perform testing and quality checks, while supporting production with material handling and documentation in AS400.

The role requires safe work practices, the ability to read drawings, and hands-on use of drills, punches, riveters, and related tools. This is a full-time position with a $20/hour rate and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months of Assembly Technician experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience using hand and air tools.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT required.
• Within 50-mile radius of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies.
• Assemble, adjust, or repair components using a variety of tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment; perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking, and painting equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; follow SOPs and method sheets and instructions.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks before, during, and after assembly; apply identification labels to completed assemblies.
• Support production flow by retrieving and delivering materials; prepare assemblies for shipment or storage and complete material transactions.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
• Provide support across production areas.
