Job summary

Badger Meter Inc. is seeking an Assembler II to assemble parts per Work Instructions and Drawings, with the possibility to rotate across the facility among various assembly tasks.

You will use hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies and must be able to read customer specifications. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience, plus comfort with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
• Understand gluing and centering to tight tolerances across products.
• Ability to use testing equipment (function generators, multimeters).
• Basic computer skills including ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to 5S and Lean concepts; safe, clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Rotate through multiple assembly tasks across the facility as needed.
• Operate hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies.
• Calibrate gas, test sensors, and verify specifications when required.
• Record activity in Production system and monitor inventory status.
• Support safety, quality, delivery and cost improvement efforts.
