Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will assemble parts per work instructions and drawings, potentially rotating through multiple tasks across the facility.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, a high school diploma, and basic ERP/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
• Understand tolerances; basic testing tools may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.
• Use circular saws, deburring tools to complete modified assemblies (Utility and Flow Only).
• Use laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver to complete modified assemblies to customer specifications (Utility and Flow Only).
• Calibrate gas to test sensors (Analytical Technologies Only).
• Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders and adjust as needed.
• Record day-to-day customer order activity in Production system and view work instructions.
• Identify Inventory requirements and status in LX screens and make adjustments.
• Train others in the department and participate in safety, quality, delivery and cost improvement efforts.
• Perform basic 5S and Lean concepts to keep a safe, clean workplace.
