Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Racine, WI. You will assemble parts per work instructions and drawings, rotating through tasks to support multiple assembly lines.

You will use hand and powered tools and may assist with modified assemblies and customer specifications. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing, basic computer skills for ERP and MS Office, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired.
• Understand gluing and centering to tolerances for multiple areas/products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools.
• Operate saws, deburring tools for modified assemblies as required.
• Use laser/dot peen engravers for customer specifications in qualified lines.
• Record production activity in the system and check work instructions.
• Maintain 5S and lean practices to keep a safe, clean work area.
