Job summary

Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II in Racine, WI to assemble components per Work Instructions and Drawings. The role involves rotating through tasks across the facility and using a range of hand, power, and precision tools.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, perform basic 5S and Lean practices, and participate in safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvement efforts. Prior assembly experience and basic computer/ERP skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of assembly/manufacturing experience desired.
• Understanding tolerances for gluing and centering as specified.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Use hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies.
• Operate laser etcher, dot peen etcher, and engraver for customer specs on modified assemblies.
• Calibrate gas to test sensors and document results.
• Record daily activity in production system and monitor work instructions.
