Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembler I - 1st Shift at the Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. The pay rate for this position is $18.50 per hour. The core hours are 6:00am – 2:30pm, and the role involves building sub-assemblies and complex wiring for UPS battery cabinets.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
• Inspect completed assemblies to meet Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and maintain 5S+ housekeeping.
