Eaton Corporation is hiring an Assembler I for the 2nd shift at the Weathers St site in Youngsville, NC to build UPS sub-assemblies and assemblies following SOPs. The role requires attention to quality and safety, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour plus shift differential.

Responsibilities include visual inspections, using fixtures and tools, meeting Raleigh Plant Quality standards, and contributing ideas for process improvements in a clean 5S+ environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Relocation not offered; 50‑mile radius limited geographic area.
• Active Duty Military candidates exempt from geographic limitation.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies following SOPs.
• Perform visual inspections before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools.Inspect completed assemblies to Raleigh Plant Quality standards.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety rules.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Ensure machines and tools are calibrated; perform 5S+ housekeeping.
