Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Industrial Assembler in Ontario, OH. This full-time role operates on a 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10PM–6AM) with a first-shift training period before transition.

The position pays $21.70 per hour with a weekly paycheck and offers benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage. Responsibilities include assembling industrial equipment, reading blueprints, using precision tools, and assisting with electrical wiring and conduit installation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or heavy equipment production.
• Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial equipment and components per blueprints and specs.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Assist with tube bending, conduit installation and electrical wiring.
• Move materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.

PDS TECH is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for an Industrial Assembler position in Ontario, OH. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills while learning new ones to assist you in your career.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial equipment and mechanical components according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized assembly equipment.
• Assist with tube bending, conduit installation, and electrical wiring.
• Safely move materials and equipment using forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, automotive repair, or heavy equipment production.
• Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certifications within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience

Electrical panel assembly, conduit bending, or hydraulic/pneumatic tube bending.

Pay Details

$21.70 per hour
