Permobil is seeking an Assembler to join our production team in the United States. The role requires reading blueprints, assembling wheelchair components, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery. You will use hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of assembly experience, strong English skills, and the ability to read mechanical drawings. Overtime may be required to meet production targets.

Schedule: Full-time,Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Your Role in Our Mission

As a member of the operationsteam the assembler will be responsible for executing tactical tasks in aassembly environment to ensure that the organization meets quality and leadtime expectations. The assembler will be part of a team that’s committed tocontinuously driving improvements and meeting organizational goals.

Responsible for assemblingand fabricating various components, parts and wheelchair products. The assemblerwill interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to performthe necessary tasks associated with manual wheelchair manufacturing.

• Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components and products.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform tactical tasks required to takt time pace.
• Ensure proper handling of components and materials.
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve the assembly process.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.
• Responsible for inspecting and testing finished products.
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning their tools, equipment, and work area.
• Meet production targets and deadlines.
• Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
• Follow directions, procedures, and instructions for all work assignments.

What You’ll Bring

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
