Job summary

Permobil, Inc. in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Team Lead Assembly to oversee production scheduling, ensure on-time outputs, and guide a hands-on assembly team.

You will inspect parts, coordinate with engineering, communicate non-conformances, and help optimize processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. This is a 1st shift role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience desired.
• Working knowledge of assembly and sub-assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired.
• Knowledge of ERP and basic Windows software is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to coach and guide people to improve standards of work.
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that production schedules are met and that WIP levels for Assembly are satisfactory.
• Physically and visually inspect bonded parts for proper assembly and function.
• Partner with engineering and assembly teams to understand customer specifications.
• Communicate non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers.
• Be a liaison between Bonding, Kitting, Spares and other staff.
• Flex into assembly, kitting, spare production, and shipping roles as needed.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of the areas responsible.

Permobil has a position open for a Team Lead Assembly

• Pay Range: $22 to $24 per hour
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)
• Location: Lebanon, TN
