Job summary

Permobil is seeking a Quality Assembler in Lebanon, TN. The role involves visually and physically inspecting chairs for proper assembly and function, and collaborating with engineering to interpret customer specs.

You will report non-conformances to supervisors and act as a bridge between assembly teams and other staff. The position emphasizes adherence to safety, regulatory standards, and company policies, with opportunities to contribute to efficiency and quality improvements while working

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or Quality is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.

• Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand customer specifications.
• Communicate non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers.
• Be a liaison between assembly and other staff.
• Flex into rework and assembly roles as needed.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of Assembly operations.

• Pay Range: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)
• Location: Lebanon, TN

Your Role in Our Mission

What You’ll Brig

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous manufacturing or Quality experience desired.
• Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of assembly and modification processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to coach and guide people to improve standards of work.
• Other Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
