Permobil in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Quality Assembler to inspect chairs for proper assembly and function while partnering with engineering to understand customer specifications.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, prior manufacturing/quality experience, and the ability to read technical drawings. Shift is 1st with overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package is included.

• Serve as a liaison between assembly and other staff.
• Flex into rework and assembly roles as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am -4:30pm(Must have the ability to work overtime hours.)

Your Role in Our Mission

• Physically and Visually inspect chairs for proper assembly and function.
• Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand customer specifications.
• Communicate non-conformances to operators, Supervisors, and Managers.
• Be a liaison between assembly and other staff.
• Flex into rework and assembly roles as needed.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality capability of Assembly operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous manufacturing or Quality experience desired.
• Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of assembly and modification processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to coach and guide people to improve standards of work.
• Other Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
