Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging, stocking, and pricing of merchandise.
• Manage inventory, damages, markdowns, and prepare inventories.
• Monitor in-stock targets and ordering practices.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Model company policies and procedures.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safekeeping of company funds and cashier accountability.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked stores.
• Operate store in the store manager's absence.
• Analyze operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete all required paperwork on time.
