Maurices Incorporated in Roseville, MN is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to work with the store manager and team to drive sales, customer focus, and talent development. The MIT will participate in a comprehensive training program and relocate if needed to a new or group of stores.

The role prepares for a Store Manager position within 3-6 months, emphasizing leadership, scheduling, visual standards, and payroll management.

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED required; a business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
Supervisory experience required in a customer focused environment; experience in the fashion industry preferred.
Proven track record of achieving and setting goals and executing company direction.
Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
Proven ability to lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Diligence and the ability to persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks.

Responsibilities

Support the store manager in all Store Manager responsibilities, driving sales and a customer-focused environment.
Lead by example through customer service training resources and fashion knowledge to enhance shopper experiences.
Manage payroll hours to support business needs and store profitability.
Coordinate schedules and staffing to optimize traffic and sales opportunities.
Direct team usage of sales-driving programs and community outreach to expand store presence.
