Job summary

Maurices Incorporated is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) at Store 2228-Rosedale Center, Roseville, MN. The MIT will work with the store manager to achieve sales goals, build a customer focused environment, and prepare for a Store Manager role in 3–6 months.

The program requires relocation to the store group, with training modules and progressive leadership responsibilities, including talent development and performance management.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; a business or retail merchandising degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience required in a customer focused environment; fashion industry preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving and setting goals and executing company direction.
• Experience in hiring, promoting, and motivating talent.
• Lead by example, make sound decisions, and demonstrate professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Diligence and perseverance in the face of resistance or setbacks.
• Must commit to a specific store location or group of stores.

Responsibilities

• Customer Obsession: drive a customer focused store environment.
• Leads by example through customer service training resources.
• Drives sales by analyzing store performance and adjusting plans to meet goals.
• Manages payroll hours to support business needs and profitability.
• Directs team to use sales driving programs and outreach in the community.
