Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Houston is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help fulfill our mission—creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests.

This role involves sales, merchandising, and operational tasks and works with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit teammates, and provide leadership. The AIT position progresses to Assistant Manager with additional high level duties, including training and motivating Teammates and acting

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience or potential is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to train and motivate Teammates and manage daily store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and guest experience, greeting Guests and answering questions.
• Lead recruiting, training, and developing Teammates for performance.
• Oversee merchandising, displays, and store cleanliness to standards.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan goals and manage POS procedures.
• Provide leadership in the Store Manager's absence and supervise shifts.
