Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Houston seeks an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help deliver our mission of the most enjoyable shopping experience. You will work with store leadership to drive sales, train Teammates, recruit new teammates, develop leadership skills, and step in for the Store Manager when needed. This role spans sales, merchandising and operations, across greeting guests, product recommendations, and POS procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience preferred.
• Able to lead and motivate Teammates.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and guest service efforts to create an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Train and develop Teammates and participate in recruiting.
• Assist Store Manager and act in their absence as needed.
• Oversee visual merchandising and store operations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and loss prevention guidelines.
• Manage scheduling and performance tracking.
