Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our Dayton team. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure smooth daily operations in a busy convenience store.

Responsibilities include training teammates, executing merchandising plans, overseeing cash handling, and promoting loyalty programs. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with one year of retail management experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail supervisory/assistant manager experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Experience with cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and lead the store team with the Store Leader.
• Train and coach staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist in merchandise assortment and promotional program execution.
• Support scheduling, checkout, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and stock levels.
