Job summary

7-Eleven in Ohio is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager as part of our Store Leader Trainee program. You will work with the management team, supervise staff, and help drive customer service, merchandising, and daily operations.

This full-time role requires leadership, the ability to train and coach employees, manage cash, promote loyalty, and maintain a clean, safe store. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year in retail management preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, with at least 1 year in Retail Management.
• Experience supervising staff and leading a team.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Develop leaders, empower employees, and focus on retaining qualified staff.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash transactions and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment in compliance with health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team, and use basic Microsoft Office tools.
