Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and operations. The role leads store team members, ensures staffing during peak hours, and drives customer satisfaction across retail and professional channels.

The candidate will assist in recruiting, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance while managing daily store functions and specials. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom; ensure staff execute programs.
• Assist the store manager in setting goals, providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
• Assist in recruiting by scheduling interviews and evaluating candidates.
• Ensure buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed promptly and communicated.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds; ensure invoicing before departure of merchandise.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
