Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher in the Cincinnati area to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps.

You will collaborate with school teams to deliver SESI’s PBIS-based instructional models and maintain essential student records, including IEPs and BIPs. You will develop individualized lesson plans, implement behavior strategies, and monitor progress toward academic and social goals while supervising students

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and adaptability in dynamic classroom settings.
• Experience with or willingness to implement PBIS-based approaches is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps in students.
• Develop individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and crisis intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain required student records including IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and evaluations.
• Track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students during in-school activities and transitions.
