Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is hiring a special education teacher in Cincinnati, OH. You will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional gaps, collaborate with school teams and families, and apply SESI’s PBIS framework to support students’ growth and success.

You will develop individualized plans, implement strategies, and monitor progress while maintaining compliant documentation and focusing on student well-being within a supportive, diverse learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required.
• Valid teaching credential required.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse group of students with varying developmental needs.
• Use SESI instructional models and curricula to deliver knowledge and support growth.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Implement behavior management and safety strategies as needed.
• Maintain student records including IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and evaluation forms.
• Track student progress toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
