Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students who need additional academic and behavioral supports.

You will collaborate with school teams and families to diagnose learning gaps and deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning models and PBIS CASE framework to help students shine. In-district classrooms and standalone schools offer smaller class sizes, professional development, and a supportive network across SESI’s national program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse groups of students using SESI’s models and curricula to meet learning needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to ensure safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and evaluations.
• Drive and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during transitions within the school.
