Job summary

clearway seeks a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings. You will enter intake and provider orders into the EMR, verify patient information, obtain vital signs, and support patient flow while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards.

You will assist nursing staff, prepare equipment and supplies, and help with post-procedure rounds. Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork are essential across clinical office and ASC environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Internet and Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Remain patient under stressful health scenarios.
• Multitask and prioritize.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Two-step PPD or annual PPD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bringing patients to pre-op, recovery and discharge.
• Enter patient intake and orders into EMR and manage records.
• Support infection control, safety and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient flow and accuracy of schedules.
• Assist with inventory and supplies for ASC procedures.
• Set up sterile fields and assist during procedures.
• Pass instruments and help with equipment as needed.
• Document and verify patient identities and procedure details.
• Communicate effectively with providers and staff.
