Job summary

clearway is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and Ambulatory Surgical Center settings. Responsibilities include EMR data entry, medical records requests, vital signs, patient intake, and supporting patient flow while maintaining patient satisfaction.

The role requires maintaining infection control and regulatory compliance, assisting with pre-op to discharge processes, and collaborating with nursing staff. Some travel within the clinic network may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook proficiency.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Assist in pre-op, recovery, and discharge transport.
• Assist patients with medical forms and information.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and OSHA standards.
• Complete paperwork and ensure patient records are accurate and complete.
• Support nursing staff with vital signs, history taking, and patient assessments.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and sterile clinical environment.
• Prepare sterile fields and assist providers during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety protocols, time-outs, and identification checks are followed.
