Job summary

Clearway is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in office and Ambulatory Surgical Center settings. You will enter intake data and provider orders into EMR, request records, and support patient flow while complying with HIPAA and infection control standards.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities, with a focus on accurate documentation, patient safety, and professional patient interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, staff and the public.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Professional appearance.
• Working knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in office and ASC settings.
• Enter patient intake and provider orders into EMR.
• Request medical records and manage patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control.
• Assist in pre-op, recovery and discharge.
• Assist with inventory and supplies for procedures.
• Set up sterile fields and assist during procedures.
• Verify patient information and results with accuracy.
